2. Proofing

For the first customized printing packaging box, it is generally required to make digital samples. For those who are more strict, it is required to make solid samples on the printing machine. Because the color of digital samples may be different from that of digital samples during mass printing, and the printing machine can ensure that the color of mass production is consistent.

Some docking must be made clear. Generally, the default is to make digital samples. If you want to make computer samples, you should make a good explanation in advance. You can also make a difference in price: Digital prices are cheap, but computer prices are expensive.

3. Plate making

Plate making is very important. As this process directly affects the integrity of products, the current skills have also been improved a lot. Most manufacturers use digital machines to make plates. Generally, they need to print, develop and repair plates.

The gift box is exquisite, beautiful and high-grade, so the layout color of the packaging box is also varied. Generally, a style of gift box has not only four basic colors, but also several special colors, such as special red, special blue, black, gold, silver, etc.

4. Select paper

In general, the gift box of the packing box is lined with gray paper and mounted with colored paper or special paper.

Colored paper is double copper and dumb copper paper. And some of the materials we talked about before can also be used. Some use 128G, 157G and 200g, which are commonly used. The color paper mounted on the gift box rarely uses more than 200g. Because the color paper is too thick, it is easy to blister on the gift box, and it looks dull outside.

Inner paper mounting is to select the appropriate double gray paper according to the needs of customers, commonly known as gray board paper or gray card paper.

Of course, it also depends on what the product is. Plan the outer packaging according to the product, and then select the paper and process. These are generally confirmed at the time of proofing.

5. Printing process

Gift boxes are only mounted on the printing surface. The paper mounting is usually exquisite. Many of them are printed in spot color, and many processes (such as bronzing, concave convex, UV, etc.) are customized

The gift box is an outer packaging box. It studies the printing process, and taboos color differences, ink dots, and rotten boards will affect the aesthetic.

6. Surface treatment of colored paper

The paper on the outer surface of packaging boxes and gift boxes should be treated. The common ones are over gloss glue, over matte glue, over UV, over gloss oil, over matte oil, bronzing, etc.

7. Die cutting

Die cutting is a very important part of the printing process. It must be accurate in order not to affect the follow-up work. The key lies in the manufacture of knife dies. The blade mold is also an important link. If the blade mold is not correct, your planning documents will also greatly affect the products. Therefore, when making the blade mold, you usually take the printed products to the blade mold master to make alignment, or you will be present in person to follow up the orders.

8. Paper mounting process

Generally, printed matter is mounted before die-cutting. The only gift box is made by die-cutting before mounting colored paper (face paper). The main reasons are: 1) fear of making colored paper, 2) the gift box is exquisite and beautiful. Only when the colored paper outside is mounted can you see the exquisite craftsmanship.

9. Packaging

If you need to make buttons and holes, they are all completed during assembly. If you don't use these packing box processes, you should clean the appearance (wipe the surface glue with sewage), and then you can make packaging and delivery.
